Portfolio

In the past two years I have been working on SEO for some Polish websites and professionally on some English websites, mainly at work though.

January 2010-August 2010 - working on the container rental website (wynajem kontenerów):

We achieved position 10 on a page 1 in google.pl for the main keyword "kontener"
SEO work stopped at because of scaling the business down.

I often do ad hoc freelance projects for Polish and Australian companies.

Top 10 Question - International SEO

1. Is translated content treated as duplicate content?

No, unless you just translated it using Google Translate.  Auto-generated translations might be considered as spam.

2.  Is the same content posted on different TLDs treated as duplicate content?
If you use different ccTLDs and have hreflang tag in place then you do not have duplicate content issues.

3. Can I use the same metadata on two or three pages in the same language but targeting different countries?

Over to Tom’s slides for a lovely catch up:

How to avoid SEO on-page pitfalls Fili advised to check ‘blocked resources’ in Google Search Console to establish what could be invisible to crawlers.
Ensure there are no server errors as they may slow down Google crawlers.
